Jimmy started playing lacrosse around kindergarten. He comes from a lacrosse family; his dad was an All-American at Boston College and his two sisters played there as well. Jimmy’s brothers played at Williams, Navy, and UNC. Jimmy began playing for the Manhasset Youth League and continued at Deerfield Academy.
Under the coaching of Chip Davis, Jimmy was a 2011 high school All-American, played in the National Under Armour All-America Game on July 2, 2011, and, as a senior, led Deerfield in scoring with 75 points on 52 goals and 23 assists. In addition, Jimmy won the Stephen Lindsay Award as the most valuable attackmen in Western New England Division I in 2011.
Currently, Jimmy is a freshman starting for UNC and is their second leading scorer. Jimmy has coached at many of Maverik’s No Limit camps and also help run the “Bitter Lacrosse” family business.
